AsianNGO was initiated to address the three main issues that NGOs face today: finding funds, partners and relevant learning resources for better management. We know these are essential aspects for any organization who wants to reach their sustainability goals.
Our vision is to build relations between local NGOs in the Asia-Pacific region and fund providers across the globe. Our core principle is to communicate, collaborate and capacitate, and we believe in the philosophy of Partner to Progress.
The organization behind AsianNGO is Asia Society for Social Improvement and Sustainable Transformation (ASSIST) which is an international capacity building NGO based in Manila, the Philippines, with additional offices in India, Vietnam and Indonesia.
AsianNGO is legally registered under Asian Development Media which is a social enterprise based in Hong Kong, but it operates through the main office of ASSIST in Manila.
ASSIST started over ten years ago and has since then grown into a successful international NGO that has implemented over 30 projects in Asia and Africa. The expertise, staff and structure that ASSIST can provide through this long track-record of excellent management, is what constitutes the backbone of AsianNGO.
